Events

Our special therapy events provide fun, meaningful opportunities for naturalistic intervention and skill carryover. Held throughout the summer and periodically throughout the year, these engaging activities allow our therapy clients to practice skills in a motivating, real-world setting. Whether we are engaging with a petting zoo, planting flowers, painting pumpkins, or decorating cookies, therapists naturally target language and social communication, fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, following routines, problem-solving, and independence. By embedding therapeutic goals into enjoyable hands-on activities, our clients practice and generalize their skills in new environments, with peers, and across everyday experiences.
